Louis "Tony" Curiel has been creating beautiful fine art since the mid 1970s and today he not only oversees the curriculum at the visual arts school he founded, but also oversees all the work his team of professionals create for others, which includes developing and creating glass "hot shops" for other artists.

For more information call 712-580-5035 or email us.

In 2003 Louis "Tony" Curiel  designed and built the furnace in the "Hot Shop" for Bogenrief Studios located in Spencer, Iowa.

►In 2010 Curiel created a portable "Hot Shop" so that his excellent team of glassblowers could travel the state and share the process of creating glass art with larger audiences.

This wood sculpture by John C. Feldhacker was sold at the ArtFest Midwest, but more of this master sculptor's work can be seen and purchased at the CRVA.

In an effort to offer both education and entertainment, the CRVA built a Portable Hot Shop in the spring of 2010 to attract and intrigue people of every age and social group. This full-functioning portable glass blowing studio can be brought to any location in the midwest in order for our Glassblowing Team to give live demonstrations at schools, festivals, fairs, and other places the public gathers.
