Fashion Modeling 101 Want to learn how to become a Fashion Model? In this semester long course you will learn what it takes to be a professional model in a manner that will give young ladies' the opportunities learn how to walk correctly on the runway, how to dress appropriately for social occasions, and the latest trends in fashion, hair and make-up. Students will emerge with a better understanding of elegance, confidence, grace and dignity on the runway as they learn how to walk the walk and practice real techniques of runway modeling. Print Modeling This 8 week class will focus on what it takes to become a commercial print model for magazines, catalogs, product ads, store advertisements, and clothing ads. This type of modeling is different from fashion modeling in that most companies want "real people" with all different types of all looks and sizes to advertise their products and services. Students will spend a great deal of time in front of the camera learning -- on a photo shoot, a model poses to demonstrate the features of clothing and other products. This class will cover the details on how models make small changes in posture and facial expression to capture the look desired by the client. Students must be at least 13 to sign-up for this class.
